Create a system profile system threshold alert

A system profile is a subset of system settings that are associated with at least one array. The settings are defined once as part of a system profile and can then be applied to more storage arrays.

To create a system profile system threshold alert:

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Unisphere for PowerMax.
    The home dashboard view is displayed.
  2. Optional: Go to the left panel and click Configuration > System Profiles to open the System Profiles view.
    The system profiles that are associated with the storage system are displayed.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Create.
    • Select a system profile, click More icon, and click Modify Profile .
  4. Click System Thresholds and Alerts and select the checkbox next to it.
  5. Modify one or more thresholds.
  6. Click OK.
